Well she didn’t help things by abusing him his whole life. But most people who have had abusive and traumatic childhood experiences at the hands of their parents don’t end up becoming predators and serial killers. But statics do show that people who grow up with domineering mothers tend to have a more likelihood of turning out that way. BUT that’s not always the case, and it does not excuse what they’ve done. I had an abusive and traumatizing childhood, I went down the path of drugs and alcohol from age 12-25. But I never once had a thought of killing someone or going on a killing spree, I have too much of a conscience and too much empathy to even entertain such a thought. To kill another human being out of anger or just for fun is just pure evil and soulless. It’s unjustifiable.

That man had issues from an early age, and he knew it...he didn't try to run, cry, or make excuses. He spent the rest of his life in prison and was probably happier; society was definitely safer. Now that's sad😢

The scary thing is he could've kept killing and the police in the area had no idea it was him. Back in the 70s and early 80s. It was a lot easier to get away with these murders before DNA and trace evidence advanced like it is today.

He killed his paternal grandparents when he was 15 years old, was initially imprisoned and later transferred to a mental hospital where he learned interrogation skills from work assigned to him there.
After he was let out, he killed eight people including his mother and her best friend.
