«Do Not Test Our Nerves»! The US Tests The Deadliest Nuclear Bomb In History

In 2037, the development of a new modification of the B61 bomb was to be launched. In 2050, the B61 Mod 13 was to enter service.
Such plans remained valid until now, but on October 27, the Pentagon officially announced the adoption of a new plan. It is reported that in recent months, specialists of the military department and NNSA have been studying the current situation and scenarios of its possible development, as well as looking for ways to further develop nuclear weapons.

Gravity bombs along with cruise missiles are one part of the nuclear triad. The B61 family of gravity bombs have a number of variants. The Mod 7 and other like Mod 11 can have variable yields up to 340 kilotons. They can be fused in several ways, to be an air burst or ground burst bomb. Their small slim design allow them to be deployed in many US aircraft, both fighters and bombers including the F35. The Mod 12 was re-engineered to be a ground penetrator bunker buster with precision targeting accuracy but only has a maximum yield of 50 kilotons. Nuclear bunker busters have many advantages over convention bunker buster bombs besides being much more powerful. When they penetrate the protected space they can take out everything and everyone in the entire network while a conventional bunker buster can only do limited damage in the proximity of its detonation.Among the things the nuclear bunker buster can do is suck all of the air out of the network as the fireball rises. This after the initial blast wave that expands outward, the thermal wave that travels at the speed of light, and the radiation.

So the problem with the Mod 12 is that you have to choose between a high yield less precise targeting bomb or a lower yield bunker buster. The mod 13 eliminates that decision by offering the advantages of both. So it is as effective as a strategic ground burst or air burst weapon as Mod 7 with the same maximum yield or slightly higher and the precision of the Mod 12 bunker buster but with much higher yield able to destroy much deeper targets below ground. with its mod 7+ yield.

These weapons would be useful against enemies like Iran. Against a more formidable adversary the more likely first strike would come from the Ohio Class SSBN Trident submarines. Each Trident 2 D5 can carry up to12 W88 475 kiloton nuclear warheads and each submarine can carry up to 24 missiles. A 700 kiloton Russian warhead is only marginally more destructive than an America 475 kiloton warhead because the destructiveness of the explosion increases with the cubed root of the percentage increase in yield so to be twice as destructive it would have to be 8 times as powerful. The first nuclear explosions will be detonated above the earths atmosphere creating the nuclear blackout effect blinding every radar in the country. This will make even the most advanced defense systems which depend on radar useless. The will not intercept a single warhead, missile, or bomb. See the 1962 test Starfish Prime, part of Operation Dominic. A 1.4 megaton nuclear explosion was detonated 250 miles above Johnson Island 900 miles southwest of Hawaii.

The largest nuclear weapon in the US arsenal is the 1.2 megaton B83 which is scheduled to be retired. Due to the cubed root rule, many smaller yield over a wider area will be far more destructive than one bomb of the same total yield at one point. The US has an arsenal of 5200 nuclear weapons, Russia about 5900. Both have active stockpiles of approximately 1500. The rest can become active quickly should the need arise but even 1500 is more than sufficient to destroy even the largest countries. So two Trident II D5 missiles are far more destructive than one Satan II missile, they are mobile under the sea, much closer to the targets so their flight time is much shorter, all 24 can be launched within 60 seconds, and they reenter the earth's atmosphere at Mach 24, 18, 000 miles an hour. Nuclear weapons are expensive to build, expensive to maintain. Maintenance also requires specific expert knowledge and skill. America's best defense is a space based system of satellites with lasers that will fire immediately after launch during the boost phase when a missile is most vulnerable.

One way or the other... It appears that Mankind/humankind is bound and determined to blow itself up - no matter what!

Let's hope and pray to God that mankind never hast to resort to ever using that kind of weapon ever again. NO ONE WINS an everyone loses. A weapon that should have never been developed to begin with by anyone

America already tested their muscles in Ukraine, and America can't scare Russia, America and its trailer of so many countries have failed, they should accept that Russia is stronger than ever! How many are they? But still struggling, Russia💪💪💪💪

How is it that the Pentagon broadcast all their secret and classified strategic plans to the world via this channel??

We don't want any Nuclear bombs exploding and destroying everything and everyone. We want to live in peace, we had enough wars in the past. May God open Man's minds and show us the way to true peace.

Anyone that believes we are behind in wmd tech is sadly mistaken. There has been a shit ton of research and real weapons designs for both antimatter and primary fusion weapons. Just you never kiss and tell everything on the first date if ya know what I mean.
