In this video, I answer a driving question. The question is: Should you get a FWD or RWD car? The truth of the matter is that it all depends on the conditions that you are driving in, and how you will be driving the car. With that being said, I go over all of the things to consider and tell you whether you should get a front wheel drive or rear wheel drive car for each situation.

I find front wheel drives extremely unbalanced in the snow, you definitely need a few sandbags in the back. They're weirdly bad in the snow, my rear-wheel drive cars have alway performed better, not sure why. When I get stuck with my front-wheel drive car, I go backwards to get out, lol.

RWD is only for people who want to have "fun" driving their cars on dry pavement. FWD is far better in slippery conditions, and clearly the right choice (vs RWD) when you live where it snows. If you don't view your car as a "toy", you'll be happy with FWD. If you never outgrew Hot Wheels and its important to you to "drift" aggressively on fast turns, then you already know that you want RWD and you're willing to have a few accidents (or get stuck) in the snow.

You'd rather want a RWD in winter to do donuts on parking lots

Why can't someone just talk about rear wheel drive without drifting? Juvenile.
