I hate that ending, I am so sorry...
Personally though, the FL5 and FK8 are super capable track cars. Sure, it may not be as many smiles per slide, but does that mean they should be dismissed completely? Also, isn't the new N FWD?

FWD: different nature, need to be set up and the handling package adjusted differently, driven Lame? No

Real car enthusiasts will admire every drivetrain. Only fanboys and trend seekers prefer one of them. Fwd, rwd, and awd have their advantages and flaws

I like driving fwd in winding roads. Especially if the suspension & drive train are good, it’s freaking fun delivering power & pulling with a 300-400hp power car. I love it.

FWD isn’t my first choice for a track but on the street it’s king. It’s a lot easier to mob a FWD car without losing control

i daily a manual 370z these days.... i used to have a basic 4 door 2006 civic as a commuter... that thing was so much fun to drive omg. people that hate on civics have never driven them. that is a driver's platform hands down.

The trend people always say RWD and AWD is better cause they can do donuts or drifts meanwhile they don’t even do that with their own cars

i really enjoy pushing a FWD vehicle. I really like the understeery nature of a fwd. RWD is fun too but it feels completely different and I dont feel like I have much control. I love throwing my RSX into a corner, it drives exactly how I want it to

Some of us actually like simplicity.

My lil Fiesta ST always makes me smile and it's a monster in the corners. One of the best cars I've driven

Honda has been making awesome FF cars for decades, and it's genuinely mind-blowing how well they handle given their obvious handicap. The Spoon-tuned Integras and Civics specifically.

FF opens up more space in the cabin, the weight on the front driven axle gives more traction and stability. I'm a huge Toyota Yaris fan/owner, btw. My '09 Yaris loves playing in the snow

We are really used to front wheel drive cars here in Brazil, the local car culture push the limits out of those, and its a ton of fun

Drivetrain alone does not determine the fun of a car. There are good, fun vehicles in every category and configuration. Drive what makes you happy, and have the grace to let others do the same. Variety makes the world a more beautiful place.

Understeer is really the worst part IMO
minimal power train loss is a plus.

It’s done for safety reasons 99.9% of consumer cars are spent on public roads driving from a to b. Even those that track their car spend the majority of cars time driving from a to b. Fwd creates understeer which allows for safer and more predictable handling
