It's been two weeks since Ukraine launched its cross-border offensive against Russia. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has used the initial success to argue for lifting restrictions on the use of Western-supplied long-range weapons against Russia. At the same time, Russian forces continue to make gains in key areas of the Donbas region. What is the situation on the ground? Will Zelenskyy be able to achieve his goal of creating a "buffer zone" inside Russia? And as the fighting intensifies, are the prospects for peace slipping away?
