I have the Bose max and many other speakers. If you put the eq of the Max as +4 on the bass and +4 on the highs and leave the mid a 0, it sounds so much better

The Soundlink Max definitely is a speaker that requires EQ settings as it has a total of 5 speakers inside (with a designated tweeter)
Flat EQ will make this speaker sound a bit recessed and smooth. The flex is more of a plug and play style. The addition of the EQ makes a difference in the mids and treble only. Bass is the same.

Thank you for making this review. I'm asking you, I usually travel and I would like a speaker to connect to my notebook and make nice sound to watch movies. What do you recommend? And if you were able to try Klipsch Nashville. Regards.

I think it is very annoying that the Flex 1 won’t pair with the Max. I have 2 of them but you need the Flex 2 to work.. why? Virtually the same speaker.

Hello, I'm blind and I really like a good sound! I have Soundlink Flex, would it be more interesting to buy another Flex to have a stereo sound or do you think it's cooler to buy Soundlink Max, which one has the loudest and louder sound?
