So over the last few months or so… bose has really been killing it when it came to their Soundbars and smart speakers meant for the home. But I feel that they have been neglecting their smaller, more portable speakers. But now we’ve got the Bose Soundlink Flex… now even though this thing does have a price premium to it… the Bose Soundlink Flex easily sounds way better than its direct competitors the JBL Flip 5 and Sony XB23.

Great Review! The Bose Flex beats JBL Flip 5 and Sony XB23 by huge margin in sound quality. Would you be able to compare Flex against Bose mini 2 SE or Color 2? Also the Flex seems more like two Bose Micros were fused into one. It would be worthwhile to compare a Flex against two Micros(micros in Partymode)

I m probably buying bose flex which seems the best out there. Jbl is hollow sound. I dont like jbl at all.. xb 23 is surprisingly bad against the xb line which is perfect like xb13 or 33

Excellently thorough. My Soundcolor 2 crapped out in July (after long, and dutiful service) and I'm deliberating jumping up to the $200-350 price range for the giant Bluetooth category. I'll pass on this one (though I adore my Bose TV Speaker & 700NC Headphones).
