They should make a new artifact.

2 set: increase pyro 15%
4 set: increase crit damage to enemy affected by burning by 60%

Basically Blizzard strayer but crit damage for burned enemy.

This will incentives burning team and make some pyro dps units relevant again.

I tried burning Ninguang and it is addictingly fun! Plus crystallize shields protect you from the burning damage.

Hopefully burning will be more useful with Baizhu since his kit boosts all dendro reactions

Tbh Burning is my favorite Dendro reaction. Good thing it can be viable.

Initially, I thought that Burning would be useless, but now I see that it is basically both an extension and a buff to Swirl-based teams, while also being possible to use some special Dendro characters such as Nahida for Melt and Vape Shenanigans.

Thank you for mentioning Albedo's EM buff! His constant crystallize shields actually have defensive utility and don't interfere with Dendro. Attack doesn't matter so Klee on Fruit of Fulfilment works great. Nahida for sub DPS and additional EM buffing and Yao Yao for heals and Dendro application during wave cycling. Might not be meta but it sure is fun!

Before 3.0, Burning applied 2 units of Pyro and had no ICD.

Just finished abyss with Zhongli, Guoba, Sucrose, and Nahida. This team is so good in AoE.

3:17 you dont have to chargeshot suboptimally with this team. It has to be VERY optimal or suboptimal, just nothing inbetween.

Right now when 3.6 is released, Baizhu + Kazuha or Sucrose with the artifact that decreases pyro def of enemy + Dehya will be the great burning comp but the issue is that Baizhu needs ER badly if he's not on field to broc burning and burning team can't really full stars abyss when the bosses still running away

My issue with burning right now is that if you trigger it with nahida.. which is kind of the requirement here almost... you can't take full advantage of the crimson witch of flames 40% buff to burning procs unless you put that set ON nahida.. And that feels so dumb :/

I will answer it with the newest abbys patch: Yes.
Honestly, 3.2 abbys is very cursed with how they put thunder manifestation in first phase then frozen and thunder lawachurl next floor. You can't use electro team and hydro chara with wet skill will fuck you up.
I pass with burn team: zhongli, Bennett nahida and diluc.

We need a new pyro 5 star, people only run electro/hydro, because of nilou, yelan, raiden, yae miko, ayato

The only way it will be, is if a character specific to it, comes out (like Nilou and bloom). But that's fine, because Pyro had their day in the sun, and pyro can still be Meta...but Burning is suppose to be weaker, since Pyro has other very strong reactions.

I think Burning is a quadratic Scaling.
