How To Customize Linux Terminal With OH MY ZSH (2023) || OH MY ZSH Tutorial

In this video, I am going to show you how to Customise Linux terminal With ZSH Or Oh My ZSH. A shell is a command line interpreter in linux system. Bash is the default shell that ships with most of the linux distributions. It’s a solid and standard legacy tool which doesn’t allow customization. This is where ZSH comes into the picture.

ZSH is an interactive command line interpreter that incorporates most of the useful features of bash and ksh along with additional features. With the help of OH MY ZSH framework you can customise ZSH with themes, functions and plugins.

Just want to correct something: Bash also allows a lot of customization, just not as much as Zsh does. But there's still a lot that you can customize in Bash. I personally use Zsh over Basb because it offers better autocompletion features than Bash does

if you wanted to change which shell starts no matter what terminal emulator you use, you can edit the .bashrc file.
doing that also makes typing "bash" into your terminal reset zsh

thanks for this video. You missed out a Crucial & Vital step for the 'powerlevel10k' theme; Installing the specific Fonts that powerlevel10k uses in the Terminal; otherwise the Terminal experience is Very Bad!

my autosuggestion pluggin does not work, it does not provide anything. Why is that? pressing esc twice will get sumo in, so that worked but not the autosuggest.
