this is the safest way to customize the terminal. Some other steps are requiring to install the package using pip which is kinda not suggested. everything here works using apt. thanks for this information. God speed.

Tried to follow the tutorial, more than once, on ubuntu kudu, but the wizard of 10k shows only (r) and (q) making very dificult to find my choices.
Any insight about this problem?

my terminal went default mode after closing it,

never mind i just had to type zsh and things were all set
