After a year of working from home, employees have had time to evaluate work cultures and the typical 9 to 5 job. Many are pushing back against this return to work and getting back into the office. Many millennial and gen z workers are putting pressure on employers to raise pay, make work from home accommodations permanent, and add on benefits which is leading to a competitive job market between employers and a massive shortage of employees across the board.
