this is a quick tip to help you bypass this error while trying to recover your macbook pro so you can continue to install the mac OS...

Try this and ignore this help video as it is out of date! When you reboot your Mac, simultaneously hold down these keys: Command + Option + R. It will offer you Ventura or other recent OS and off you go. If you only hold down Command + R, the system takes you to an older recovery setup offering older OS like High Sierra, which Apple no longer supports. That’s why you get this message: ‘Recovery Server Could Not Be Contacted’. So all that changing the date and time stuff won’t help!

I was getting this "error occurring on my iMac 2011 after replacing my SSD and this what
did.
I Create a bootable usb install drive with Catalina (you can find on youtube you will need another mac to do this part).
When is done just plug
the usb on the mac that needs the repair, keep pressing option key when your turning on the machine. The Usb bootable will pop up, select and let it run. Worked for me.

OMG! I cannot tell you HOW MANY vids I watched trying to fix this problem. I watched yours: I followed your process step by step only my OS X installer was already in place I just merely picked up from where you show terminal and inserted the date you created this vid (WiFi was turned off) and . . .
