Greate Video! Just to mention that R is also turing complet. Javascript is better for web apps, python and Julia are better for machine learning, R is better for statistics and there are other languages better for desktop application. Any language can potentially do anything but just staying in a niche and do everything with that is unproductive. So both are valid IMO

R has datatable which is better than anything python has to offer for data manipulation and processing

I know this is a joke video... but as much as I love Python's versatility, I SERIOUSLY miss R sometimes, when it comes to data wrangling and visualisation. The tidyverse suite is a joy to use, and if only the baseR syntax were less obtuse and Python's package ecosystem wasn't so rich, I'd gladly use R full-time.

Where does one find a mentor. I always find myself stuck in a problem, then I go on discord channels or stack overflow and can't get help
