Why but Python is more prevalent in AI and ML. So if you want to do that then python is the better choice.

Yeah. I agree. Javascript is more versatile in general if you want to program for the end user. Python is more versatile if you want to program for yourself or research or organizations. I find both not beginner friendly though. I would suggest Swift instead. Very clean language, but you would be confined on the Apple ecosystem substantially. Javascript is the clear winner if you're interested primarily in web development. The sacrifice at the beginning is worth later.

Learn JavaScript because of TypeScript where you can have rypes

I think Javascript is easier and more readable and more comfortable in writing because you don't need to insert spaces to indicate nesting which can be confusing and result in unnecessary errors sometimes, curly braces are more comfortable in my opinion, you can achieve more with HTML, CSS and JavaScript in less steps and lines than in Python, just try to add a text field or a button or a canvas in python and see how much it takes compared to Javascript and or HTML
