Показать описание
A hernia is when an internal organ or tissue bulges thru a weak area of muscle. Hernias are caused by muscle weakness and straining. Without treatment, hernias usually keep growing, causing pain and other issues. The most common treatment is surgery to repair the bulge in the muscle wall. Many hernias can be repaired with minor surgery, using only small incisions. UAB hernia specialists provide recovery plans to speed up healing & reduce pain.

I found this video by clicking a link in a UAB Medicine email about men's health. The link said "Do you know how to recognize a hernia?" This video did not really address that.
