So Dr Brown mean, "if your oneness pentecostal, it doesn’t mean you are not christian necessarily but you should leave oneness pentecostal because it is not healthy theology

The question should not be, "Are Oneness Pentecostals saved, " because that is making a judgment on the eternal destiny of all of them, but the question should be "Is the message of Oneness Pentecostals" salvific?

No?

Although I’m not oneness I do appreciate the fact that they take what they believe seriously. So many trinitarian Pentecostals have become so carnal and worldly that it’s frightening. At least oneness seems to be very sober minded. I think trinitarians should take note in this regard.

Are Trinitarians saved? Should be the question. They follow catholic dogma, not the old new testaments

When Jesus was baptized, The Holy Spirit was in the form of a Dove and The Voice of God The Father said, "This Is My Beloved Son In Whom I Am Well Pleased." When Jesus Hung On The Cross He Cried, "My God! My God! Why Hast Thou Forsaken Me?" As Jesus Was Ascending, He commanded us to go baptizing in the Name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. He said if we are ashamed of Him before men, He Will Be ashamed of us before His Father. We must take a stand and Honor and Worship All 3! When the Holy Scriptures say He is One, it means One Spirit, One Family, One accord. Three yet One. I Believe in The Holy Trinity With All That I Am

FYI did you all know that Oneness theology is more ancient than the doctrine of the Trinity! There were Roman Bishops that believed in the Oneness doctrine - Callistus and Zephyrinus. The early church father Tertullian (The one that invented the word Trinity) stated in his day the Oneness believers outnumbered the trinitarian believers (The Ante-Nicene Fathers: Tertullian Against Praxeas Chap. 3)
. Also, Tertullian's trinity was not even the same as what Trinitarians believe today. Tertullian would be considered a heretic by today's trinitarian. As a matter of fact, if you study the church fathers you will see that the doctrine of the Trinity evolved to be what it is today. The early Trinitarians believed the Son and Holy Spirit was subordinate to, or even in most cases created by the Father. It was not until 325 c.e. at the Nicene Council when the Son was elevated and 381c.e. at the Council of Constantinople when the Holy Spirit received equality with the Father and the Son. I promise every word I just spoke is true. I'm not even a Christian why do I need to lie? You can research Oneness movements by these names Modalistic Monarchian, Patripassian, Sabellian. They were slandered by the church fathers just like the Israelites were slandered. At least the Oneness believers have true monotheism like the true Israelites/Jews as opposed to the three-person God of the Trinitarians. Duet. 6:4 states Yah is one, not three.

I’m a Oneness Pentecostal. We aren’t a Jesus only. We do not deny the Father Son or a holy a spirit. We just believe they are three different roles or the same God. Not three independent, distinct separate beings, because that by definition is polytheism.

Dr. Brown ignores scripture, we’re commanded to do all things in the name of Jesus, especially baptism. Everything has been subjected to the only name that saves, even death & hell. We pray, receive forgiveness, are born again all through faith in the name of Jesus. Some very scripturally inaccurate statements in this post. Ironically, denying the authority and teachings of Jesus (son of God) is the spirit of anti-Christ (which is the theme of a very good book authored by Dr. Brown). Inclusivity that requires denial of basic apostolic doctrine is intentional ignorance. The Apostles only baptized & re-baptized in the name of Jesus. Revelation offers a future glimpse of resurrected saints with the name of Jesus on their foreheads like the priestly mitre. Accuracy is important.

The Son is the _express image_ (Heb.1:3) of the Father.

An image is a picture.

When you take a picture of Person A, does Person B appear in the picture instead?

I’m a proud Pentecostal. My church doesn’t really follow most of these things you were saying.

What I’ve seen over the years is people in service after service saying how thankful they are for the truth and how they love the truth and how much they want God to reveal His Word to them until God sends the truth and they reject it because they were told all their life that they they’re the only ones walking in true revelation and true holiness. I never said any names but if the shoe fits.. These same groups coerce tithe and offering out of its members with a threat of a curse from God. Only they understand the Bible correctly while the rest of the worlds Christians are just stomped at the most basic truths. All I ask is every man consider humility and actually studying the Word of God objectively for yourself instead of being lazy or something regurgitating what your pastor said or elder said. See what Gods Word says for yourself and trust God to help you arrive at Gods intended conclusions by and by.

@AskDRBrown I don't believe that is a fair evaluation Dr. Brown. There is no scriptural support for the doctrine of the trinity. The trinity is a fourth century doctrine that came into being at the Council of Constantinople 381 AD. Oneness believers do not deny the Son, we believe in the Son, we just don't believe he is a second demigod in a three headed Godhead. There is no sinners prayer in the scripture, no word "trinity", and no one in scripture is baptized in "the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost". Everyone baptized in scriptures was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ, (Acts 2:38, 8:16, 10:44, 19:5). The Oneness of God is the only doctrine that will reach the Jewish people!

I just listened to this twice.
The truth is that the church in general is in very bad shape. I’ve heard all kinds of things come from trinitarians throughout 2020 that were cult like, political attacking viscous spirit, false prophetic operating massively. Before putting out a video on if Oneness people are saved, the same could be said about Trinitarians — cult like behavior is found in different churches, false prophetic, incorrect beliefs. The truth is there people that aren’t balanced on both sides of the aisle. Then there are consecrated set apart spirit filled believers doing their best to understand the amazing dynamic of God.
I’m Oneness and I love Jesus. I love Christians. I’m a fan of your ministry. I’m praying you have more positive experiences and know we are children of God. 🙏

Why is it you decide to go off the subject of oneness, lump all Pentecostals into one group, and then make generalizations about said group? It's funny you refer to Pentecostals as 'extremists', because Jesus himself would have been considered an extremist in his day. Certainly Jesus could fit the extremist narrative. Why else, indeed, would he be crucified other than the threat he posed to political and civic power? I think to start it would be wise to rethink your wording. As for the topic at hand, the Bible clearly states Jesus is God manifested in the flesh(1 Timothy 3:16). It never states that Jesus, or the son manifested himself in the flesh.

"Here O Israel, the Lord our God is ONE Lord", Not THREE
Duetoronomy 6:4

"And he saith unto him, 'Have I been so long time with thee, and yet hast thou not known me, Phillip? He that hath seen ME hath seen the FATHER'"
John 14:9
Here Jesus clearly states that when you see him, you see the father. How would this make sense if the father and the son are separate entities or persons?

As for baptism, in Acts 2:38, Peter gives specific instructions on how to be saved. We know this because the men of Judea literally ask Peter, "what do i do?"(referring to the fact that they had just crucified Jesus and wanted to be saved). Peter replied very straight forward, saying "repent, and be baptized every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins".

Why is it important to be baptized in the name of Jesus christ, and not any other name? Why is the name Jesus specifically what saves?
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."Acts 4:12
"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:"Phil 2:9
"And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name"Luke 10:17
"In my name shall they cast out devils"mark 16:17

There is a pattern of the NAME of Jesus having power specifically. This is why we baptize in Jesus name only. That is where the power is! All baptisms in the Bible were done in the name of Jesus. None were done in the name of the father, the name of the son, and the name of the holy ghost. Those are the titles, therefore in those titles there is no power. Just like when you go to buy a car, you do not sign the paperwork with "dad", or "engineer"; you sign it with your name. The power lies in the name! You have to use the name, just like the name of Jesus was used to cast out devils.

Also, lets not forget the original church was baptizing in Jesus name up until the second century, when the catholic church changed this. This is all on record.

Britannica Encyclopedia, 11th Edition, Volume 3, page 365 – Baptism was changed from the name of Jesus to words Father, Son & Holy Ghost in 2nd Century.

Canney Encyclopedia of Religion, page 53 – The early church baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus until the second century.

Hastings Encyclopedia of Religion, Volume 2 – Christian baptism was administered using the words, "in the name of Jesus." page 377. Baptism was always in the name of Jesus until time of Justin Martyr, page 389.

Catholic Encyclopedia, Volume 2, page 263 – Here the authors acknowledged that the baptismal formula was changed by their church.

Schaff – Herzog Religious Encyclopedia, Volume 1, page 435 – The New Testament knows only the baptism in the name of Jesus.

Hastings Dictionary of Bible, page 88 – It must be acknowledged that the three fold name of Matthew 28:19 does not appear to have been used by the primitive church, but rather in the name of Jesus, Jesus Christ or Lord Jesus.

Clearly neither of us are catholics here, so why are we adhering to catholicism and their methods?

There is only one name in which man can be saved and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. Whatsoever you doing word or deed do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hear oh Israel the Lord our God is one Lord…

When was salvation ever dependent on believing the trinity or oneness doctrine. To me both are trying to explain the Godhead and both have flaws in them. As long as you acknowledge that Christ, the Father and the Holy Spirit is God then that's fine with me. Trinitarians need to stop this habit of bashing those who have a different understanding of how the Godhead works. It is a mystery.

Trinitarians put their own interpretation or standards on what salvation means and what the word says... the bible says that in order to be saved we must know who God is 1John 17:3... this man just lied to you

No they are not. Exceptions can be made for new believers, but ultimately God will reveal His nature to anyone who is born again, just as He did to Peter, when the Father revealed to him that Jesus is God. Oneness Pentecostals believe in a different God than the scriptures teach.
