Hey BEAT family! The Trinity is one of the core beliefs of the Christian faith and has been for nearly two centuries. Some groups are trying to reject this belief and tear it down and as a result, they are causing many to question this doctrine. With all due respect because I believe Allen Parr does his ministry with integrity, but he completely misrepresented the Oneness doctrine here. Like many others, they just repeat what other Trinitarians say we believe instead of actually hearing arguments from more educated Oneness defenders on a scholarly level.

I'm sure there are many Oneness believers in the streets who would word the Godhead like this, just like there are tons of people who would make a mess of the Trinity if asked, but they don't represent the best on offer. Why not interact with the best arguments out there instead of wasting time with these basic and flawed ones?

Just my two cents. I'm sure Trinitarians would find it insulting and laughable if I made a video saying that Trinitarians believe in 3

I'm a Oneness Pentecostal convert like 3 years ago and I studied their doctrine from Dr. Bernard's work. One of the key principles of the Oneness Doctrine is the dual nature of Christ: His Divine nature and his human nature. His human nature manifest when He goes hungry, thirsty, and sleep just like any human vessel do. His Divine nature manifest when He performed miracles, commanded the storm to stop and etc. None of this Divine manifestation would happen if the Spirit of the Father didn't dwell in Jesus Christ.
Whatever Jesus did, it all comes from the Spirit within Him. Whatever Jesus is, it comes from the Spirit, the love and compassion. Whatever what Jesus says, it all comes from the Spirit within Him.

For example, you fill the water container with salt water from the vast ocean, it will become to two forms with same one component.

The Father is the ocean and the Son is the water container with salt water.
They have different forms but they have one component and that is the Spirit.

And we all know that God is a Spirit, the same Spirit who hovers into the darkness and gave birth of the entire existence.

What made the Father and Son one is the Spirit.

We worship God in spirit and in truth, not by our flesh.

One thing I disagree about Oneness Pentecostal is that Speaking in Tongue is the requirement for salvation. But I would agree that Speaking in Tongues is one of the evidence that they are filled with the Holy Spirit. Somewhere in the Book of Numbers wherein the Elders of Israel (23 I think) were filled by God's Spirit and they prophesied. Paul mentioned that in the Book of Corinthians that prophecy is one of the gifts when they are filled with the Holy Spirit. This analysis itself makes it clear that the Holy Spirit we receive is the same Spirit from the Old Testament.

Basically, Oneness Doctrine teaches that Jesus is all the members of the Godhead because they are all of the same Spirit.

If you read the Bible for yourself, you don't have to worry about being falsely taught by anyone. The Holy Spirit teaches us all things.
Those who teach falsely will at the very least be considered least. I try to encourage READING and praying always 🙏

Oneness believe all three are God and they believe God can be all three simultaneously. The difference is in the labelling as three persons. They prefer to call on Jesus and there's nothing wrong with that. It would be an issue if they didn't believe Jesus was God.

This is why it is imperative that we ask God for discernment to learn the word and ask the holy spirit guide us to a preacher who preaches the gospel. There are too many false prophets/teachers who dont understand scripture.

All three exist at the same time, all the time. God can do the impossible. He is outside of time, space, and physics.

The Bible says in Isaiah 9:6 that the Son would be called the Father. You don't know what you're talking about and it really shows. You mentioned Matthew 3:16-17 but the way you describe it actually is contradictory to the doctrine of the Trinity. The Trinity is 3 persons in one God but the way you are interpreting this verse is that it's not 3 persons in one God it is 3 separate gods since you see the Son (Jesus) sperate from the Holy Spirit (the dove) and the Father is an invisible voice. You're saying the Almighty God can't be 3 things all at once. Also, like every trinitarian you mistake the role of the Son. The Son of God was the man Jesus. So when Jesus prays to the Father you're not seeing one member of the Godhead talking to another you're seeing a genuine human, which God had to become to be our kinsman redeemer and shed blood for our sins, talking to the deity. Jesus on earth had a dual nature he was both God and man. As God he healed, he prophecied, and he cast out demons. As a man he was hungry, tired, thirsty, and he died. Now God the Father, the Spirit, can't die, doesn't get hungry, doesn't get thirsty, and doesn't get tired. Oneness is correct and the Trinity is wrong. None of the disciples taught the Trinity it wasn't taught in the Old Testament and the early church fathers up to around 150-160 AD did not teach the Trinity. The Trinity is a doctrine that was formed after the Bible was written using Greek philosophy.
