Why aren't people seeing the obvious? The pole shift reverses polarity of the magnetic poles, that's it. It absolutely does not mean the earth will flip, that's ridiculous. Magnetic poles and the angular axis of the Earths spin are two completely separate forces. One is influenced by the earth's core, the other by gravitational forces from Sol and neighboring bodies.

Magnetic pole shift means nothing, unless you're trying to use an old magnetic compass to find your way. That guy was lying when he said the last one was over 700, 000 years ago. It happens a lot more often than that.

Also, the earth can't just stop on a dime. He's ignoring conservation of momentum. If there were a superman large enough to grab the entire earth in his hands and really stop it instantly, everything would burn up and melt, as the kinetic energy would turn to heat.

These people are banking on the fact that most people never had a single physics or chemistry class in high school or an astronomy class in college. I've had them all.

In the original story of Utnapishtim, they survived the floods by building a raft, filling it with friends, family and every craftsman they could fit, along with baby animals and food.
They braved the coming waters for 12 days, before opening the hatch and looking around. They found the slope of the mountain they could rest on, and did so for 7 days while sending birds to scout for land. Utnapishtim and his wife were awarded a place among the gods for staying loyal and saving what they could.
Any Christian will recognize the points here. Noah's ark, biblical flood, the world "being made" in 7 days, Adam and Eve, birds as messengers of hope.

They tried telling us about it, they tried to keep the story warm. But we corrupted it, we changed it to gain power, to enforce twisted morality, to view ourselves as the chosen people. We weren't, it's never been about that. We're a legacy of a few exceedingly brave people.
