The breakfast menu in Mongolia is slightly different from Waffle House. 😉
It often includes:
* Clotted cream
* Curds
* Fried Curds
* Butter
* Milk Tea
Hardly anything grows in most regions of Mongolia...which is why animal products (not produce) are featured at every meal. Families offered us staples like yak milk, cream, cheeses, fat, and meat and we enjoyed every bite. Mongolians are known for their hospitality and now I know why.
Which of the above foods are the most intriguing to you? Have you tried any of them?
