Food doesn't have to look amazing to be tasty. The initial photos looked fine - they could use some variety, but simple is often better. The "what I actually eat" foods just looked like "Instagram food" - I'm sure they taste good too but the focus is on presentation and color and cool/exotic things. That also often means spending more money, even though you don't actually have to to be healthy!
