When Windows 11 first launched, it had a ton of issues that mostly have been fixed. People keep asking me "Should I upgrade now?". I would say "Yes" if you want the useful features available with Windows 11 that are not available with Windows 10... Thanks for watching :)

I really like the improved file explorer in Windows 11 and the chat feature in Bing is surprisingly useful. Notepad's been sitting at the back of the room, head down, doing its job for 40 years. Nice to see it finally got a bit of attention.

Really nice video Brett. I especially appreciate all the keyboard shortcut references as well. I remember opening Notepad for the first time in ages and discovering the tabs thing. It's fantastic and I am so glad that we have tabs in File explorer. I know it's been out for a while now but it certainly took it's sweet time coming. I also like the Windows media player tip. Never been a fan of bloated media players.

The clipboard history with sync is pretty nice. Voice typing _might_ be if I didn't have to say, "Period." and "Exclamation point."

There is third-party for almost everything.

My next laptop will come with Windows 11 already on it - I'll get it then.

Thanks for this video!

When is MS going to make the taskbar movable and allow similar windows to be separate? Just 2 of the things I hate about 11.

The Voice typing tool uses "cloud-based voice recognition technology" so Microsoft records your voice and saves it. It's privacy statement says they won't use your voice or transcript, but I don't trust them. It's all a matter of trust. It's all very pernicious how we get sucked in to these things.
