Just had a corneal abrasion last week. Was better in 72 hours, although my eyelid hurt every time I blinked for a couple days.

Thank you for eye info!

I do eye exercises by Dr Alan Bates 1920s or 1930s.

Doc, do you have any suggestions on how to improve eye floaters? They are a terrible condition that many people suffer with, and we don't see to have an answer, except vitrectomy, which is quit invasive surgery.

11 years ago I had my little ferret jump up at me as I was crouching down because she wanted to play . She nipped my cornea and it felt like I had a piece of sand in the eye. It was later in the evening. I went to bed thinking it would heal as I had witnessed someone's cornea heal after lassr eye surgery. It was getting quite painful the following midday and I went to the hospital to get it checked out. It was weekend and the eye specialist - an Indian Dr who had not been in the UK long asked me: what is a ferret. I said it was a little predator with teeth like a cat looking a bit like a mongoose. He looked at me in disbelief and said: "Why on earth would you have a ferret? Have a labrador. Thanks mate, I love labradors, but I haven't got the room for it.
Ferrets are very clever and extremely funny, this is why I have them.
I still miss my little Ferrets.

The Doc but some dye into my eye and looked at it through a magnifying lense. Needless to say, it had healed.

Wow!! It sounds like we should keep our ears pretty much clean, I know blocked ears over a period of time can effect our brain or possibly give dementia.
