How to test / replace Ford Escape P0456 Evap Purge Valve

In this video we test and replace the Evap Purge Valve on a 2009 Ford Escape 3.0L V6. Engine code P0456 Small Evap Leak detected.

Thank you! I couldn't find the darn thing every other vid was for 2.5L. This is great. I have the P144A code so hoping this switch fixes the issue but will try some die electric grease first as someone said that on the seal fixed the issue and code. Thanks!

I actually bought a replacement valve years ago and never used it. Guess my check engine light came on (P0456) and went back off. But now it's back on so I'll replace it. Thanks for the video!

Need help. Got the code p0456 on my 2010 ford escape xlt. I tested the purge valve with the suction test and it passed. But i removed it anyways to check it out and it had a bit of oil on the end that went into where it goes. What does that mean?
