That metallic test is a good one, I was told that as long as you can hear it move, it's good. It needs to not only move but be free of carbon build up so it can open and close properly. Thank you.

This is the oil separator vent valve. I would like to know and I still haven't found an explanation on youtube how to check the oil separator that enters the vent valve (PCV). Congratulations for explaining beautifully and you would be a good teacher on youtube!

Thank you straight to the point and the noises i wanted to hear. My pcv is all covered in oil thinking thats not good but its probably okay if it passes the shake test

hello dear
can u please help me finding the breating pipe on clio 3 1.6 2010 hatchback?
i understand the pcv is build in under the cylinder head but where do the hell the breating pipe found ?and more over how can i test that it ventilate well the cranckcase?
