Certainly not. Only one text for Christian's. Mormons have others.

Its amazing how many people have an opinion without even ever actually reading the bible.

You actually can.Christians are essentially people who recognize Jesus Christ as the promised messiah of the Davidic line.Beyond that there is a wide range of denominations and beliefs and disagreement on everything ranging from apostolic succession(Catholics) to what specs of books are included in the canonical Bible.

Why it is that Jehovah's witnesses do not also acknowledge the trinity and believe that Jesus Christ died on a stake, not on a cross?

Look at it this way . As a Christian you are commanded to love and try to recover the Jews to believe in Christ. As a Christian you can see Jesus throughout the Old Testament. Once you see it you cannot unsee it. At least that’s how it is for me. You sit puzzled on how the Jews don’t see it. You ache for them to accept Jesus and be saved. That’s exactly how it is for the restoration in the old and New Testament. I can see it in there, and I wish you could see it too. Accept the restoration and all the wonderful truths that are more clear because of it. Much love.

Let LDS defend themselves and stop speaking for them.

Mormons did "Not" change the gospel (The Nicene Creed did)!!! (lol) God gave us a "fix" for this with "current" revelation and additional scripture to "Clarify" his truths!!! (As he is not a god of confusion)!

The problem with comparing the LDS Church to Christianity is that Christianity isn't Christianity. It's tens of thousands of different interpretations of the Bible, one for each different denomination. So Christianity is nearer to babel or the possessed guy in the Bible whose name was legion because they were many. Paul also cursed anyone who teaches a gospel other than the one he taught. Surely Christianity with its tens of thousands of differing gospels fits that bill.

The apostle Paul literally "added to the Bible" when he wrote his Epistles. Should we throw all that out? The Gospel of Luke was written way later than the other Gospels, was Luke not a Christian? The concept of the Trinity was not widely believed until after the creeds were introduced and people were compelled to believe it.

Trinity is not from scripture neither is rapture.
