not too long before he deleted everything, Xavier posted on instagram that someone had been trying to blackmail him for over a year. This had stopped him from working on music, and made him barely post on socials that whole time.
then, without any announcement that I saw, he deleted everything.
It's sad to see, hopefully he gets back on social media, and un privates all of his videos; if they were privated, and not deleted.
They were blackmailing him with sexually explicit stuff from when he was in college, and it looks like they got their way sadly.

This guy has always been one of my biggest inspirations as a guitarist. I’ve dealt with sexual trauma too and I relate to a lot of what he went through in college, I understand why he hid from everyone and deleted everything, I’m just hoping he heals and comes back to doing the thing he loves best…playing the shit out of his guitar, it was the one thing that helped me when my mental health was extremely bad.

Man this makes me sad. Sleepy dog inspired me to make my own midwest emo/ mathrock adjacent project outside of my pop punk band. Makes me wish I downloaded his uploads because I love coming back to them from time to time.

thanks for reuploading! :D it absolutely sucks to see people trying to harm xavier in any way, but i totally understand how serious the situation is and why he purged everything online :( i'm sure a lot of people (myself included) can say that this video is what got them interested in math rock or emo music as a whole! i'm probably only in a band now because of xavier's music in all honesty

Appreciate you for uploading this and if anyone has the music video where I think he has an Akatski cloak on and/or the one where the camera pretty much stays on a close up of his face, no drums, and it repeats the verse.
