I know it's no small ask, but you should really write a book. Math rock (and probably to a lesser degree MW emo) is such a complex style, and there's seemingly no literature about it. I've been playin guitar on and off for the past 8 years (due to other interest) and I always struggled to understand this basic musical theory stuff on the guitar, because I could not get a hang for it! Great video! I love your content. I was wondering if you could add 30 seconds of improv to videos like this because it really makes it easier to see things in action. Personally, I see people speak about ways to do things, but for some reason, no matter how much I try, there always seems to be a disconnect between what I see and my ability to use in a way that sounds decent.

Been stuck in a wall for months now looking for inspiration to pick up the guitar again. I saw this video on my recommended and watched it... A few minutes in, I was surprised how the sound of the scale felt so familliar, so I took my guitar, learned the chords and was blew away after I started seeing the relations of the chords and how you can mix and match them easily... Really helped me pick up my guitar again and play around with these new tools. Great video!
