Make Your Own In - Line Fuse Holders For 12V Electronics!!

I show you a simple and cheap method of making your own in-line fuse holders that will get you by if the situation calls for it. It can be considered a permanent solution, but isn't recommended. *NOTE* this video is for demonstration purposes only. Great idea. Saw on another video the same method. But yours is better with the insulated ends. Just saved me about $7 for a in line fuse holder.

thats the way I always do it.. never had any issues, you just have to make sure that the wire you are using is appropriate for the amps that the circuit has.

should i put a in line fuse on everything that goes into my battery even if comes from the fuse block at the console, ive got bus bars that ive got everything running into before it goes to the battery

Hey man, what size fuse are you using?
Is it ATC or Maxi/ATX, I'm trying to make sure a blue 14-16 guage female spade connector will fit snug on the fuse terminals(prongs).
I'll order some correct size Fuses because I only have Mini/ATM Blade Fuses.

I'm going to be wiring my hummingbird helix 7 to a battery and they say to use an inline fuse. How do I know what in line fuse holder to get? And will a 1 amp fuse be sufficient?

What side do you put the in line fuse to? Negative or positive side
