2012-2014 TOYOTA Camry oil change 2.5L

Tools needed:
- 0W20 oil (mobile 1 extend performance)
- Oil filter (04152-YZZA1) "toyota genuine parts"
- Torque wrench (Tekton)
- 14 flute 24mm filter wrench
- 14mm wrench socket for oil drain plug
- Ramps (Rihno ramps)
- Oil drain pan
- Measuring cup
- Gloves
- Funnel
- Paper towel

Things to look out for:
- Accelerate before contacting the ramps then use its momentum to roll up to the top.
- Over tighten oil drain plug and filter cap may damage thread causing difficulty to remove later.
- Over filling oil may allow oil travel into combustion chamber damaging the engine.

Nice video. I like that you used a torque wrench, more people should do that. Most people don't use the plastic drain on the filter housing, it's a big waste of time. The 10, 000 mile oci is and was pure marketing bs. The maintenance light is documented by Toyota to illuminate every 5, 000 miles. The top hole on the dipstick is the "full" mark per Toyota service manual. So which do you trust, the 4.6 qt. spec. or the dipstick? Toyota isn't what they use to be, there are some obvious inconsistencies and cronyism going on.

Additional information would be the torque spec for the drainplug on the oil filter cap. (12.5 N•m or 9 to 10 lb.ft) it's important that it's not put on too tight otherwise the entire oil filter will come off instead of just the drainbolt.

Hey got a question. I tried taking the oil filter off turning counterclockwise and it would not turn no matter how hard I pulled the wrench. Should I just try a long bar with a lot of leverage? I'm worried about braking it.

Yeah I had a problem too with the oil filter I turned it to the left and I tried my hardest and it wouldn't come off and it broke. I changed oils before st Cadillac Mazda gmc, never had this problem. Never messed up a car. Idk why this happend to me
