I think that right there is why relationships do not work in the Black community. If you practice bad habits you get good at it. I am lucky enough to live among other cultures of people from across the world, and I can honestly say, black American men and Black Caribbean men in the Uk are the only ones who think like this. Men primarily see the benefit of marriage as a way JUST for you to help pass on their lineage. Not for a spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical connection ordained by God but SOLEY for their "legacy".
