I will be looking at a followup video in a month or so to see what might have changed in the firmware/slicer or just covering new things after a month+ use!

As Angus said, 3D printing has been so accustomed to cheap and mediocre printers for so long that products like these rattle the entire industry. Which is good! We need people to come along and shake things up and show that we don't have to settle for poor performance and poor reliability (and cumbersome tinkering to get even a baseline level of functionality). We CAN and SHOULD be able to print things smoothly, quickly, and easily.

Quick printing tip: If you want to reduce support material, add a detached simi circle frame or arch, below the support area. The semi circle doesn't need support but the support structures will print ontop of the semi circle or arch. Just ensure your settings overhang angles are correct. The arch provides a space between the base an the area that needs support but uses a ton less material.

I got this printer, and I'm blown away by how good and reliable this damn thing is. I threw bargain basement PETG in I'd never used before, printed someone a Satsana duct for someone, even freakin m3 nut recesses printed vertically with no supports were absolutely spot on perfect. Default PETG profile but just had to up the bed temp to 70C intstead of 60C, no flow tests, retraction tests, no esteps, no bed leveling, nothing else otherwise. It's an amazing printer.

Fedex is the worst shipping company ever. The Pony Express would do a better job than fedex.

We are getting closer to the point where the 3D printer is becoming an appliance. We aren't there yet, but we are getting closer. I picked up the P1p and am completely blown away and at the price point of $699 is truly insane. I'll have more videos up on the P1p so others can see what the other Bambulab printer can do. It's truly amazing!

Great to know that hair spray works just as well. So much more convenient than glue sticks!

Patiently waiting for my KS delivery! Great video, can’t wait to print with mine.

I would guess that layer issue may be a cooling thing. When it is printing SOOOO fast you may not be able to get enough cooling and will deal with a bit of layer warping causing that ringing you see?

If only it had a little bit bigger build volume. I would buy it immediately.

At the 7:33 mark I'm now noting to myself that when I get this printer the first thing I'm buying for it is a lazy susan.

Awesome review man. Precise, condensed, well structured and objective. This printer is very impressive. Thank you.

15:24 I think you _can_ re-print the last file (files?) from the printer alone: That's why the balloon dog is listed on the internal storage. So, in a production setting, this should not be an issue?

You're *definitely* right about the filament loading and the spaghetti detection though…

I was leaning towards the AnkerMake but this video has moved me towards BambuLab. The enclosure is a big add and the quality is stunning!

Higher flow rates call for higher nozzle temps. When I print at 400mm/s on my V-Minion (which is pretty much my default profile), I'll typically print 30C hotter than if I were printing at "conventional" speeds. Those silk filaments loose their luster the hotter you print them. Typically, I'll print at 190C and slow (40mm/s) to get a really shiny finish.
What temperature are you using on the Bambu, and how does it compare to the Neptune profile? You might find that it's just not possible to get both speed and luster with silks, as the additives that create the finish break down at fairly low (for printing) temperatures.
