Humans are a hot mess. I would hide from us too.

I saw the film about three times over 30 years and just dismissed it as a hoax out of hand.
But when I got older I decided to open my mind and look at it properly.
There’s no way it’s a hoax. Those who think so aren’t looking closely and they aren’t grasping how things were in 1967.
There are many things which make it authentic but the walk alone is a clincher - skeptics don’t look at it; they think it looks like a man walking but they don’t understand human locomotion - we lock our knees, Patty doesn’t, we bring our calves up only a few degrees whereas Patty lifts hers to 90 degrees. Try doing it and still appearing to walk smoothly (across broken ground) and you’ll find it’s impossible.

I have watched a ton of analysis on this video. Both debunkers and believers. I am now convinced this is 100% real. I think what clinches it for me is the tendon you can see behind the knee and the calf flexing.

Here's a good comparison, I live in the state of Pennsylvania.
There are approximately 18, 000 black bear in our forests, I live near the Poconos and I hike and fish frequently.
I haven't seen a bear in 4 years !
The estimated Sasquatch population for Pennsylvania if they exist would be approximately 26.
I'll let everyone do the math on how often you would see one if they do exist !

One thing that no one talks about is how fluid this creature walks. There are rocks, sticks, obstacles all over the place and it manages to stroll without tripping on anything. Also turning its body, looking at the camera without loosing its balance. A human in a suit would not be able to achieve this level of skill.

The thing that's always bothered me is that if it was a suit, why didn't anyone keep it? It would be a piece of American history at this point and definitely worth something. And if Patterson was hoaxing films, he'd want to get the most value out of that suit by re-using it and getting the most value out of it. As far as my knowledge, Patterson only came out with the Patterson Film and only that. If I had a badass Bigfoot suit, and no morals, I'd be using that thing over and over again to get a quick buck. That's not what happened at all with Patterson.

Astonishing Legends does a really good breakdown of the Patterson Film and the entire story behind it, it's very interesting, but it's a 7-8 part series with 2-3 hr episodes... it's dense. They do a whole hour on how film works. It's great, check it out.

This film made my cousins and my sisters want to be bigfoot hunters when we grew up. Then of course all the bigfoot shows. We lost our chance. RIP Leighton you were my favorite cousin

The most compelling film that convinced ME that it is real !

I'm happy to see that you've taken a stance on the P-G film and declare it to be an authentic Sasquatch. You're 100% correct in your assessment!

All the points you make about the 16 mm film the prints the plaster casts etc. are ALL valid points.

However...
One critically important point you failed to mention, that I think you'll find very exciting if you haven't already learned of it... Is that the FBI fingerprint/footprint specialist found upon his research of the plaster casts held at different universities, that Patty's footprint was lifted in a second cast approx. 20 YEARS after the P&G film was originally shot, and in an area nearly 400 miles away from Bluff Creek!! He was able to determine that the dermal ridges matched from the newer print to Patty's print at the time of the filming! Thereby proving without a doubt, Patty was alive and well AT LEAST 20 years after the filming in 1967, and had traveled roughly 400 miles from that location!
The fact he confirmed this second cast of Patty's foot, should remove all doubt even from the toughest of skeptics!

She walks so effortlessly and so natural in this environment. To me, no other evidence is needed to believe.👍🙏❤️

I totally agree. That footage is amazing and people claiming it was a man in a suit. A one of a kind suit with Boobs. Makes no sense. Why make a suit to be female. For a man to wear back then. And the thickness of the thighes and waist are huge. A man in a suit doesnt just make a suit wider and thicker like what we see on that video. It would just be a furry thinner looking figure in a hairy suit.. Nah!!! It's been looked at by makeup and suit experts. And they have said. For back then. No way that's a suit. And who made that amazing suit back then? That Patterson video has convinced me. No matter who tries to tell me I'm not seeing what I see. Great job on this video.

You can tell, by the way it's body moves when it walks, that this creature weighs a lot.

It's very interesting, it looks like a perfect description of a evolved gorilla that's evolved to be a biped. The arms are quite long aswell and the hunching means it could lean into its hands when scaling steap hillsides quickly

I first saw this film in 1968. My Dad and I went to see it at the local high school auditorium. I don’t recall if Roger Patterson was there or not. I thought it was real then and I still do. No way is that a costume. Even today, I don’t think it could be replicated. And why hoax with a female Bigfoot ? Makes no sense.

For people who do not believe, take a really good look at the leg muscles.

Jim Henson was approached at the time and said he couldn't produce a costume to that quality. He out of anyone was the expert on animal costumes.

National Geographic tried like hell to debunk this film and couldn’t. No one talks about that.

IMO the Patty film is undeniable proof Sasquatch. To many experts have weighed in, the movement, the muscles etc…Nobody today could replicate this and have a suit fit to look fluid like this creature, the muscles just all of it, can’t be done, meaning it’s REAL 🦶
