I spent the night alone in the woods near where the Freeman video was captured. I didn’t know about the film at the time. I was not in a tent or camper. I was awakened in the night by something that felt like tapping on my sleeping bag. I popped the inside of the bag with my hand in the area of the tapping. I wasn’t quite awake but within seconds I remembered where I was and thought “what the crap was that”. I poked my head out of the bag and realized that it was just the wind blowing against the bag. I stared at the stars until I fell back to sleep. I don’t know if I could do that again. I was about 52 years old at the time.

People have often commented negatively on Paul Freeman's emotional reaction to the Sasquatch he encountered. But it's important to remember that by then he was an older man (51 or thereabouts when the video was taken) from another time and a rural area. Such men are generally not the most emotionally demonstrative humans on Earth. But he is shaken and to me, having known many other men like that in my own life, it shows. Especially how he says "JESUS!". That says it all to me. That is not acting. That's someone's entire worldview being shaken up and terror taking over. I know how that moment feels...

The close up footage of the Patterson video clearly shows muscle tone in the legs and breasts. If it is a suit then why Breasts? Those two factors prove this is a real Sasquatch.

I think BOTH the Patterson and Freeman footage to date. Are THE MOST tangible proof and evidence that these creatures TRULY exist. The passion Paul Freeman had in going about his castings and offering them up to be scrutinized by the experts. Speaks volumes in and of itself.

Ohh look there he goes!!! I believe the Freeman footage to be authentic, it would be extremely difficult to fake such a real Squatch & it's movement and gait, although it was recorded on a VHS format, and a cassette that had been recorded over many times before, it stands as very incredible BF film footage!!! I've always ranked it right behind the iconic P&G film of Patty.

The Freeman footage, IMO, is legitimate. I’ve studied that video at great length for many years. I also studied/researched all there was to learn about Paul Freeman, his work, and all he did concerning Sasquatch. Ive been looking into it for many years. Despite the stories, and naysayers, I became convinced Freemans footage is 100% the real deal. BTW, there is a “cleaner” looking copy out there than this one you posted.
As for Pattersons film, I’ve been convinced of its authenticity for many years now.
And I’ll let anyone with an interest know this much: Track down the cleanest copies available for both films. Do extensive, slow motion comparisons. Frame by frame comparisons etc.. Put 15 or 20 hours into comparing the 2 Sasquatch pictured. And you will come to realize that these two creatures are extremely similar, in so many ways. While Patty is female, Freemans is male. Keep that in mind. You’ll start to recognize the anatomical differences in the male, exactly where excess muscle mass should be etc. Yes, Patty is very large. But Freemans being a male, I estimate is nearly twice as large in mass through the shoulders & chest. The Freeman Sasquatch is unbelievably huge in mass. Thickness from chest to back, and circumference around the upper abdomen and chest area, absolutely dwarfs Patty. This took hours of frame by frame analysis/study to determine. But, its all there to be seen.. But, you have to work at it to see it. Keep at it, and you’ll come to eventually see what I also saw.

Good thoughts on the films. I really like your laid back assessments. As a life long hunter in these type of habitats, I would disagree with your one point where you said there should always also be other evidence to be aquired. Large soft footed creatures very often do not leave decernable tracks or sign. It requires specific ground conditions for bears, MTN lions, humans, sasquatch, etc to leave usable tracks. Not to mention the fear factor of hanging around an area after an encounter. Therefore, having both video and excellent supporting evidence would be an exceptionally rare outcome in my mind. Hope that helps.
