I'm glad that by the time Kong died, he at least had his beloved girl comforting him. It must've given him some pleasure at his last moments. Rest in peace, king.

This movie was the perfect adaptation of the 1930s movie. Peter Jackson truly went above and beyond with this, felt all the sadness with Kong

My grandfather passed away last week. He took me to see this movie in theaters when I was 15. I am an avid movie lover, and my grandfather was not. Not that he disliked movies, or didnt watch them, he just didnt enjoy them like I do and he didnt watch them as often as I do. But the fact that he kind of went out of his comfort zone to do something that I enjoyed is something I'll always remember. It may not make sense to other people, but its one of the many memories I cherish with him. This movie has always hit me in the feels, but now that he's gone, it seems to hit extra hard. It's one of my all time favorites.

This is the King Kong. It shows the classic 1930s version of what it would actually look like. Which is what we all wanted. The CGI still holds up today 20 years later.

King Kong is an extraordinary hero. He sacrificed his life to protect the woman he loved the most. I cried so much about this movie. 😢

Fought with the giant Dinosaurs, stood in front of the bullets and tore apart fighter jets but handled the woman he loved with outmost care and love, now that is a true man !!!

Even men who never cried, they cried during this scene

6:51 This moment is honestly the saddest part. Kong knows that he can't win this battle, yet he decides that he's not going down without a fight and is willing to make one last stand.

I know this is kinda random but it’s so cool when you visit the Empire State Building how much King Kong referenced and all of the merchandise they have. He’s such an icon :)

I cried so hard at this you know his only goal was to protect his queen until his last breath he knew he wasn’t going to make it yet he still fought til the end . His last look at her was a look of love before he manned it up and stood up one last time. Egging the planes on … a true legend

It was a masterpiece in 2005 and it remains a masterpiece in 2024. Sir Peter honored and respected the original and added his own beautiful flourishes to this to make it his own. Naomi Watts and Andy Serkis are perfect. This is eternal.

"Full Emotional Spectrum" is what this film achieved
I laughed. I cried. I cowered. I cheered. That is what cinema is about.
