Not only can you use these tips on Shotcut, but you can apply these tips regardless of what video editing program you use. The most important thing when it comes to video editing is simply being able to learn and implement new techniques, practices, and methods while editing. This will help you so much in the long run by allowing you to edit faster and more efficiently making this editing process easier and smoother for you!

Good job on the video. It would've been nice though to show off Shotcut's new workstation feature by using the Logging layout to demonstrate bringing footage into Shotcut when talking about organization. And just to let you know, even though you can't color code clips in Shotcut yet, Shotcut does let you change the name of any clip. Just double click on any clip in the playlist or timeline and press F2. 🙂

the saving project tip is so true, i learned the hard way to save after doing alot of changes shotcut crashed on me twice, one time it crashed after i watched everything and cut what i wanted and i didnt even save once... never again lol

Which version of Vegas Pro do you use? I switched pc’s and windows defender removed my cracked files so I had to switch to shotcut and am about to pull out my hair.
