Jeannie received negative comments for not wanting to be pregnant in her ex marriage but just because she’s not a mother, it doesn’t mean she’s unaware on the strength it takes to be a parent. She’s very intelligent and in tune with humanity. I applaud her because she represents the uncommon opinion on not wanting to be a mother BUT want to make a difference in this world. 🤟🏼 I look up to her so much.

Jeannie needs to be a pastor honestly... she speaks with so much integrity and from the heart.

I used to work at the airport, I pushed wheelchair, I was waiting for my passager, meanwhile I saw a woman holding her baby, she was trying to get setup the stroller but she was having troubles. I went up to her & said “Do you need help miss”? & she said yes please. She told me to hold her baby while she fix the stroller. Her baby was so sweet and beautiful. Another time, young mother was by herself & she was really stressed out because her babies was crying and tired, my passager wasn’t there. So I told her, your child can sit down if you want to? I helped her, all the way until her husband showed up & got her luggage. She wanted me tip me but I told her “no, it’s okay, I wanted to help” I can tell she was really thankful

As a man, perhaps it isn't my place (so please correct me if i'm wrong)
but I really believe that people need to question their motives for having children.
I'm hearing so many women say, "i'm getting older, I'm running out of time" or "I feel like something is missing; I need a kid". Those things make me cringe. I see so many children born to parents who have a lot of love to give, but no resources, education or spiritual grounding to raise a child. This is 2018, these children can't come into this sick world ill-equipped.

I’ll never forget this. I was at chick fil A with my wild 2yr old. She was having a tantrum. I’m Latina. This white elderly man approaches me and asks me if I’m a single mom (I am). Immediately I started to brace myself. Instead of judgement he tells me I’m doing an amazing job and to keep it up. Such a simple thing to say but it brought tears to my eyes.

Where was this positivity and advice when I was 18 & pregnant with my twins!? I love this show with such gracious and powerful women!

I gave birth to my son at 18, unmarried, black, young... I knew I was a stereotype, but didn’t care. Because sitting around thinking what others thought of me would have taken time from learning to be the best mom I can be and growing as a woman. I was a single-mom the first 3 years of my sons life and now the last 4 years, and this journey has been nothing less than hard, but rewarding. I see the biggest blessing in being a singlemom and helping other singlemoms out there see the bright side. I KNOW the doubts and turmoil not only others but we put ourselves through, but look at you still making it. Look at your children still happy and doing good. You are capable and worthy! Society can kick rocks!

Why is Tamera bringing it back to herself?? I thought she was gonna say something like "it's hard for mothers even when you are two parents, it must be even harder for a single mother" but no she goes "it's hard for us TOO even though we have a partner"!

Treat people how you want to be treated... just be cordial... who I'm with or if I'm single parent should not concern you unless you wanna help me with my child ! Single parents / moms / one parent homes can be hard at times & overwhelming but they make sure they try their hardest to be the best version of themselves for both themselves and their child !!! So let them be

Having a child isn’t a gift. It’s the product of two people having unprotected sex until finish. The respect comes in when a parent raises a great kid

Not disagreeing with tamera because I completely agree but she’ll never understand or feel the difficulties of being a single mom and sometimes single moms need a little more than some of the things she said. She won’t understand as child or mom how hard it’s is having or being a single mom. I love tamera and everything she stands for though and I do acknowledge the difficulties even when you have a partner
