Why Most CHRISTIANS are Going to HELL!! - Paul Washer

The Lord Jesus warned that on the Day of Judgement, many people who identify as Christians, those who call Him "Lord" will be denied by Christ Himself and He will condemn them to hell! Are you really saved? Or do you only think or hope you are? Is there evidence to back up your claim of being saved? This is something everyone should take seriously and do what the Bible commands us to do, to examine ourselves to see whether we are in the faith, because for so many it is going to be too late.
This sermon was preached to a group of young people in 2002, but its relevance is timeless and concerns all Christians of all generations.

I love this message and I am in 100 percent in agreement!! I was one of those people who thought I was a Christian but had no fruit and was a total hypocrite. At 65 I woke up to the truth that I was lost. I then got Born Again by my true repentance in my closet. I am not the same person as I used to be. I’m a new creature now, and it’s definitely different than just saying a prayer! Thank you for standing up for the truth to go against most of American churches. This message needs to get into the modern church!!

Oddly enough, yes.
A former Pharisee told me. A pharisee who believed he knew best for everyone. Ironically, his name was Paul too.
"If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved" Romans 10: 9&10

Praise the The High King that men like this do NOT stand at the gates waiting to turn us away because we don't fit their model...just like the Pharisees of old.
If Christ comes back tomorrow...I suspect these self appointed gate keepers will too miss him as they did 2000 years ago.

So, what does the bible say? Heb 3:12 " Take care brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to FALL AWAY from the living none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin." Yet Paul says that God will not let a true Christian fall.
Heb 6:4 " For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who once were enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of they COMMIT APOSTASY..." but Paul said that a true Christian is OSAS, God will not let them fall, yet here you have some who had been partakers of the Holy Spirit, who were
2 Peter 2:20 " For if, after they have ESCAPED THE DEFILEMENTS OF THE WORLD through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, they ARE ENTANGLED AGAIN IN THEM AND So, how can that happen to a true Christian who had escape the defilement of the world? Why didn't God protect them?
1 Timothy 4:1 " The Spirit expressly says that in later times SOME WILL DEPART FROM THE heed to the doctrine of demons". How can you depart from the faith? if you weren't in it?
Gal 5:4 " You have been severed from Christ....you have fallen from grace". How can you be severed from Christ? if you weren't in him to begin with? How can you fall from grace? if you weren't in grace to begin with?
So, the question was asked, how are you saved and Peter tells us in Acts 2:38 " Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of your sins.." and as you keep reading it says that those who received the word and were baptized, the Lord added them to the saved. v41 & v47. It also says in Col 3:1 that after you have been raised with Christ ( this is done in baptism, Col 2:12 ) we are told to seek the things above, set our minds on things above not earthly things. Col 3:12-17 tells you what those things one was ever saved by the sinner's prayer....

To enter the Kingdom of God you must be born again from above. John 3. Either youre born again or your not. Lotta drama with this guy. God will finish what He started when he causes you to be born again...."until the day of Christ Jesus."

By the way, the belief that an immortal, conscious soul goes straight to heaven or hell is not a belief of the early Christians or even of Jesus but came from pagan converts to Christianity who brought into the church this Platonic belief.
