Inspired by the Japanese 5S organisational method, architect Nicholas Gurney created a streamlined, minimalist 24m2 home. Neatly divided by a moving screens and a split wet and dry kitchen. Everything has a place in hidden storage including the portable cooktop and dining table, intended to never detract from the outdoor view.

Everything about this apt is so clever. And I love that you don't have to fold or unfold your bed.

So stylish. One of the best apartments of this size I’ve ever seen. Love the table, the door with the TV, and the drying rack/cupboard. Really smart and beautiful. So much useable space and functionality without any of those crazy moving walls or weird panels. Nailed it.

These videos are so relaxing, it’s almost as if I was in those spaces. It really is magic

My wife and I checked out one of these apartments last year! Instantly recognised the layout change, especially swopping the kitchen for the bedroom. He's done a good job in a tight space.

This one really is great. My favorite is the slide out table and it’s workmanship.

I’m looking for practical space saving ideas to furnish my own tiny apartment in HongKong =D

I saw this video pop up again, and I remembered how it inspired me to make moveable counters in my art studio space. Its been more transformative than I ever expected. I have two wheeled units. so I can have a long bench on the back wall, a galley, an island, a bar or L shaped units. I can utilise ever inch of the space.

I love this designing aim that everything in the apartment is gently linked and matched each other!!!

The storage/drying dishes cabinet and the flippable tv door are genius. I didn't see the cables - how did they achieve this?

Really love the episode. Better if we have the 2D floor plan in the beginning.

As a student, I really really love this one! I wouldn't necessarily want the 'wet sink' and the 'dry sink' separately since I don't mind it that much and would put my dresser or hobby stuff there, but still! the sleeping area, the tv with the door and the couch. everything looks very well made and put together.

I love the simple white scheme- clean, open, the windows. In my efficiency apartment I have 15' of hanging storage space. Still working on the minimalism. I would convert the storage to hanging storage and find storage for the other things in other nooks like under the bed and sofa . I like the the door, but would want more visual privacy. I love this space.
