I'm consistently in awe of Caroline Blakiston, who plays Mon Mothma. By my count, she has only six lines and two-ish minutes of screentime, of which she is speaking for maybe 30 seconds. But she projects such an aura of prestige and old-school nobility, embodying everything the Old Republic once had. That's how you make a compelling character.

2:20 The guy who can be seen on the right next to Mon Mothma is Walex Blissex. He was a famous designer of starships during the last decades of the Republic. Among his designs were the Venator and Victory classes of star destroyers. He became one of the founding fathers of the Rebel Alliance, but his daughter, Lira Blissex, remained loyal to the Empire. She designed the Imperial-class Star Destroyer at the end of the clone wars.
