One problem: Without Anakin’s presence, Palpatine would’ve won. In the novel, Mace came close to being completely overwhelmed by Palpatine’s lightning. The whole “I’m too weak” was all an act to make it seem like the Jedi were evil.

This is the thing that has always driven me nuts about RotS. Even of Anakin wasn't happy with the Council, he didn't want to speak with his bestie about an issue that was terrifying him? The Clone Wars solidified their relationship as brothers in everything but blood. Obi Wan is the first logical choice he shpuld have gone to. Even if Obi Wan disapproved of the marriage, he cared about Anakin and Padme and would have helped them.

On a side note, if I had to make a choice between disclosing to the Council that my spouse could be in danger of death and probably getting the help I need, but possibly getting kicked out of thr Order, or staying a Jedi, I'm saying screw being a Jedi. The council respected Padme and would have helped if she were in danger. He could have talked to any of the masters who he was friends with...but no, he trusted the dude who kept telling him the dark side was the way to save his wife🤦‍♀️😫😑

What if the Geonosians didn't get wiped out by the Empire, and was instead enslaved by the Empire? What if the Geonosians eventually rebelled for their freedom while the Empire was too busy dealing with Lothal, freeing Geonosis from Imperial control? What if the Geonosians then helped the Rebel Alliance--in fact, what if the Rebels established a new base on Geonosis?

A cool inspiration for the Geonosians could be something like:
"I was a slave for the Empire, helping them build...cannons. Technology, for the...Emperor. (angry clicks and buzzes) We trusted Poggle the Lesser to help bring peace. To help us achieve independence from that ancient, corrupt Republic. Instead, he only helped the Emperor enslave our species, and me and countless others have lost everyone we ever loved. Him and the other...Separatists...(scoffs with clicks) created the plans for the Death Star. A superweapon that destroyed Alderaan. Now that we have fought for our freedom, they will turn the superweapon on us." -- random Geonosian

Unlike the nonexistent Battle of Yavin (in this timeline), the Empire brings 2 Star Destroyers alongside the Death Star, in a show of force. This means Luke Skywalker once again barely manages to destroy the Death Star, not only becoming the hero of the Geonosians but also for the Rebellion as a whole.

What ever you want to do it's cool. But here's a few ideas to consider.
What if palpatine perfects essence transfer and the cloning is more advanced. At the about the same level of development at the end of the clone wars as it was in the return of the jedi.
Due to subtle sabotage the cloning of force senstive clones is considerably slowed down to that of a crawl. With only one truly perfect force senstive clone of darth sidious being created as the battle of exagol takes place.

The clone being a infant that would still need several more months to mature into an adult. So that the cone would be ready for sidious to essence transfer into. As to essence transfer into a infant would kill the infant and thus sidious as well.

I can tell this one is gonna be good! I would like to ask again for a multi-season Yuuzhan Vong Clone Wars series. I would love to see what YOU could do with multiple connected plot lines, and especially with Obi wan and Anakin’s brotherly bond and how it would evolve and strengthen and be tested through such trials, and even how Anakin would train Ahsoka (if he even became her master in this timeline) against the Vong threat as opposed to the clones. Also would love to see how Palpatine and Thrawn would react to the unforeseen invaders! Thank you and love all your content! Keep it up!

This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see Padme telling Obi-Wan about Anakin’s nightmares getting shown some love. This is definitely an interesting scenario and it should definitely get shown some more love. Plus I think we can all agree that this is probably one of the most interesting/best case scenarios in SW…but it’s a welcome one. Also if Padme did tell Obi-Wan about Anakin’s nightmares…then it would definitely be an interesting opportunity to show another side of her character and make it even more interesting. It was also nice to see Padme help save/help Anakin in the most unique way getting shown some love, since she usually never gets the chance to do meaningful stunts like this that much and it was a nice change of pace to see them take the initiative and definitely made us all impressed. Plus it was nice to see Padme get that opportunity to prevent a major tragic event from happening…afterall it was nice to see her have a solid plan, afterall this was probably the smartest course of action she could take, so it was nice to see her come up with this plan to shift the power balance of the galaxy, since she knows that there’s still opportunity and hope in the galaxy. Also it’s always nice to see just how determined Padme truly is…also this was definitely something Padme would do. It was also nice to see Padme have these nice moments with Anakin and get to know her character even more. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next.

I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s:

1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling.

2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever.

3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this.

4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st)

I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s

Could you ever do a What If like that? Set AFTER the Jedi successfully stop Palpatine?

There's a plethora of things you could draw on for it. You could have the Jedi stop Palpatine but the Yuuzhan Vong invade - imagine the Jedi Order led by Anakin and Windu taking the fight to the Vong! I'd love to see Yoda and other senior Jedi trying to figure out the reason the Vong seemed outside the Force and if they would have reached the same conclusion that we got in the NJO - that they had been stripped of it. I imagine in that story Ahsoka would train Luke and/or Leia and one of the Twins, I think Leia more likely, would turn to the dark during the war but Luke would be able to redeem her - much like how she redeemed him during the Dark Empire comics.

You could base it around the crime rings and Hutts in the outer rim - most canon based stories still treat the Hutts like mobsters only - but in Legends they were the second or 3rd largest government in the galaxy depending on era and they remained independent LONGER than even the Republic! The Hutts Outlived the Republic and Empire, only joining the Galactic Alliance after the Vong Holocauted a few dozen of their planets and leaving after the ware - the Hutts are a very under - utilized antagonist faction in SW canon imo - of course some would say none of that counts cause it's all Legends but I bluntly don't care anymore. These are fan fiction stories anyway!

You could have another Force user turn to the Dark Side, pull in groups like the Night Sisters or other Force groups and have them take bigger roles.

I think the story of Ahsoka training Luke or Leia is one of the biggest missed opportunities in SW.

On another note - why does no one ever talk about Luke being used as BAIT anymore? Like that was a pretty commonly held opinion by a lot of SW fans when I was growing up. The fact that Obi-Wan didn't train Luke despite bringing him to the Lars family was always hard to explain. Modern SW just portrays the Lars' as a couple of stupid @$$holes - but personally I don't buy that - they don't come off that way in the original film - Some people give Owen shit for not letting Luke go dick off in town and made him do chores as some way of suggesting he was a terrible parent or something. Never bought that.

Imagine a story where Ahsoka learns of Luke and Obi-Wan and openly confronts him about it - calling him out and accusing him and Yoda of using Luke as bait?
