Anakin FUMES At Provocative Padme Art On The Bad Batch Ship [DELETED CLONE WARS SCENE]

I have come across maybe the funniest deleted scene in Star Wars. So this takes place just after Obi-Wan pokes fun at Anakin, stating that he hopes he told her that he said Hello, clearly insinuating that he knows something is going on between them. Anakin then makes his way to the Bad Batch ship and is shocked to find a giant and rather provocative drawing of Padme slapped onto the side of the Maurauder. I’ve translated the Auberesh above it and I think it says “good to be bad.” Anakin then has an absolutely hilarious chat about it with the Bad Batch. As the scene ends, Anakin seems really annoyed, with Dave Filoni adding the classic imperial march as the scene ends. For more Star Wars deleted scenes, check out this video.

The real reason they deleted it was to give Padme one final scene. Dave Feloni said in an interview that season 7 wasn’t meant to be the end of the clone wars series but when they were putting the scenes together Dave realized Padme wasn’t going to get a final scene. She’d been a big part of the show and he wanted her to get a little sentimental send off. So they made the scene where Anakin talked to who via hologram and putting that scene in right before a joke scene about Padme just wouldn’t have meshed very well

So that’s the real reason they took it out

Fun fact: that pinup was actually reused in Rebels, it was a wall decoration inside Rex, Wolffe and Gregor's AT-TE. It can be seen behind Wolffe when he's talking to Kallus in Season 2 Relics of the Old Republic.
