Menopause symptoms such as hot flashes. These disappear when ive been gluten free for a few days.

I am basically Carnivore.
I have no more joint, gut or skin issues & I only eat quality fatty red meats, eggs & hard goat cheese.
Different forms of gluten & anti nutrients are in all types of seeds, legumes, beans & I found out the hard way.
I don't mess around at all, it's to painful & debilitating.
I do however use different seasonings & condiments for taste.

Hello. Thanks a lot for covering this topic. In non coeliac people, there may be other components present in wheat and other grains that could affect gi tract and overall health: ATIs, wheat germ agglutinin and fodmaps.
Also some additives added to wheat products like bromine and synthetic iron can trigger health issues. Many people report having no problems eating gluten containing foods in other countries. So i think that probably processing and elaboration methods are big factors on people's tolerance.

Very well covered, some great advice.
Only issue i heard was mention of Oats, suggest try & avoid these if you are testing for Gluten sensitivity. Also, another key indicator to get tested is if you suffer with Mouth ulcers.

Just gone gluten free been a week now my symptoms are
Headache
Sinus symptoms
Bloating and stomach pain
Joint pain
Numbness in hands and feet
Skin rash
Anxiety and depression
My Headache lot better and Joint pain better so maybe gluten also feel so tired all the time

Malabsorption is what I ended up getting recently & I wondered why I had to rebuy specific vitamins my multi covered for me for years. ODD. I get the huge Bloat now and I have had brain fog for at least 20 yrs. I've cut most of it out & my gut is starting to heal better but it's a SLOW process :(

I have malabsorption for not following a strict diet! I regret it! I am barely learning how to live with it. I have wheat allergy.

Truth is the crops in North America have been genetically modified. One kind of crop has been gen changed to be able to take on more pesticide spray. Not what people want to eat. Gmo crops are not allowed in Europe.

You must go to a doctor to get the right tests done it starts with a blood test. In the USA they are at least 35 years behind us here in the UK my son was born with this and we found that out when he was 7 months old in 1983. And it can run in families I have developed it and was diagnosed in 2017. It is not a faddy diet.

Why is glue intolerance so prevalent these days? It was unheard of a few decades ago. Is it something wrong with the wheat products?
