Discover the hidden truth behind the biblical creation story in our latest video, "How Adam's 'RIB' is Mistranslated. HEBREW Text Reveals It!"

For centuries, the story of Adam and Eve has shaped cultural and religious beliefs, often reinforcing patriarchal structures.

But what if the word "rib" is a mistranslation? Our deep dive into the original Hebrew text uncovers that "tsela" should be translated as "side," not "rib."

This revelation suggests that Eve was created as an equal partner, fundamentally challenging traditional interpretations that place women in a secondary position.

In this video, we explore the profound implications of this mistranslation and how it has influenced gender roles throughout history. By examining the original Hebrew context and its consistent usage in other biblical passages, we reveal a powerful message of equality and partnership intended from the very beginning. This new understanding promotes a vision of gender equality that resonates with contemporary values.

Hebrew speaker here,
Genesis 2:21-22 is not a mis interpretation,
The word צלע does mean a rib in Hebrew, therefore it also means 'side'.

In the same verse it literally says that God have put Adam asleep, took one of his ribs and closed up his flesh at that place.

and then you read the next verse Adam is saying "This is now bone of my bones, And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.”

The reason there is different gender rules between men and women
is not because the woman was made of the rib of the man, it is because she was the one who listened to the serpent, ate from the forbidden fruit and made her man to eat from it too, as it says in Genesis 3:16
“ because you have done this... I will greatly multiply Your pain in childbirth, In pain you will bring forth children; Yet your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you.”

And here you have it.
It doesn't say that the woman is secondary, the woman has a big rule to be a partner with man.

Stop trying to invent new "revelaations" and misleading people!!

Contrary to how this narrative sounds, this is not a scholarly work. People all over the world look at the original languages in the Bible everyday. The author is not only proposing a mistranslation in modern English, but possibly in every or most languages in possibly most periods in history. To say that the Biblical text does not demonstrate and even define differences between male and female is deceptive, foolish, and/or ignorant. From a bird's eye view perspective, the author is attempting to fit their agenda into the text - and into your understanding. Do your own research.

Simple, the human rib is one of the few things that can regrow if removed correctly. Second, it is a simplistic explanation for the cloning process where one half of the dna is taken, duplicated and used to form the cloned animal. In this case the female has a duplicate “X” from the male’s “X and Y”. If you knew those facts the translation makes sense.

There is no misinterpretation. It is your mind gets confused, because you did not read the whole scripture. Stop misleading people.

It actually states scripturally that because Eve was so easily misled by the serpent, she was to submit and be led by her husband and suffer the pains of childbirth. It also states that because Adam harkened to the desires of his wife instead heeding to the word of the Lord as he ought to, he must earn his portions through hard work and labor. But folks always love to refer to this passage in a false content and narrative. The Rib or the Side is more or no less than the other. Which why within the sanctity of marriage, we, the husband and the wife, become one flesh again. One flesh. With God the Father at the top of the hierarchy, the husband leading the home, the wife submitting to the husband's leadership and caring for the children, putting the needs of her husband before the children. With our jobs under that of the children. If we can do this, as it is written biblically, then life is always good, and plentiful and prospers.... It is the natural order of things, as God created them. Some are probably asking, why are you putting the needs of the husband before that of the children and the wife. This is very simple. He is the leader at the helm. He carries all the burden of the entire family on his shoulders alone. If he does not have a strong support system, it becomes a task to grueling to bare and return his love continuously grows for her, never ceasing, just as Jesus loved the church. The children are always watching. They learn mostly be example. If they are to grow up and to have strong long-lasting relationships of their own, they need to be shown how to do this, with God's guidance and direction always at the top. It is a never-failing system. As God Created, Full of Love, Mercy and Grace.

Your explanation literally changed nothing from the traditional explanation using the word "rib".

I have no problem with the Bible stating Eve was made by Adam’s rib… We are both made in Elohim’s image… it does not mention a man is SUPERIOR over a woman… it is strictly based on order and rank… Just as your Supervisor at work has a higher rank over you, it does not mean he or she is superior over you as a human being! God loves his daughter’s and watches over them… He calls husbands to honor, provide, and love them as Christ loves the Church… God even warns husbands not to treat their wives treacherously or He will not hear their prayers!

Why do people continuously over complicate God's Word? Because they're trying to make themselves sound smarter than they actually are 🙄 And believe you me, nothing ticks Him off quicker than using His Word to show off. He tells us through Scripture that "My Word is so simple that a child can understand it." The rib is a metaphor for the DNA helix curve. It's as simple as that. Nothing more.

I've always understood that rib was an abbreviation for DeoxyRIBonucleic Acid (DNA). This makes more sense to me than a rib bone. Also Adam represents humankind, which includes men and women, so it implies that when adam was created both sexes were created at the same time. Later when the Elohim take dna from humankind, they create a helper for the original creation of humankind.

Could Eve have been a part of Adam from the beginning? He created them male and female, both created together. Eve was later separated from Adam..

You are right--God's word cannot be wrong, in Hebrew. However, a bungled translation of a word can create a wrong idea until it is corrected to it's proper translation, which of course makes God's Word even more obviously correct than we had previously recognized. That's why language translations must always be the best we can do under the best fullest studies. R.R.Racy, author of Nativity.

Well, while you bicker about the BONE that woman was made from… don’t forget that the man was made from DIRT LOL LOL

The man became superior to the woman, not because of the man's rib or side she was taken, but because of what God SPOKE to her in Genesis 1:16.

What is the most amazing to me is that the first woman came out of a man but every subsequent man who's ever existed came out of a woman. Glory by to our Father.

You have a problem with your thesis. The partner and helper construct is consistent throughout the entire Bible.

There are more than one mistranslation in the Bible(s) we read.

This video has it half right, the half that the word translated to rib may mean a side, or as the video claims an equal side may be correct, as women were made equals to men, and at that moment they were. However, when Eve decided to give the forbidden fruit to her husband to eat, and he ate like the fool men are for their women, even to this very day, our Heavenly Father cursed her. The curse was that she became subservient to her husband, "And he will rule over you", subservient. She is still an equal to men, but Eve's actions make all women subservient to their husbands. So the video is full of it, as it's creators are not knowledgeable enough to defend their point of view.

To many what if, what if, stop beating around the bush and and elongating your videos unnecessarily. Go straight to the point

It is undesirable to take one piece of scripture out of context and build a sermon on it.

According to Brown-Driver-Briggs it can mean any of the following:
1. rib of man
2. rib of hill, i.e. ridge, or terrace
3. side-chambers or cells (enclosing temple like ribs)
4. ribs of cedar and fir, i.e. planks, boards (plural), of temple wall
5. leaves of door
6. side, of ark
