The yoga asana name you forgot is 'Ujjayi Pranayam'.
Recently i lost 10kgs weight and my sleep apnea has reduced significantly. I do wear CPAP mask at night but after an hour i feel like taking it off. In last 10yrs i never felt this need but with weight loss i can feel the difference, i can feel smoother breathing without CPAP support. I hope to shred more weight and feel further better.

While Sleep Apnea might be only for small percentage of people, Sleep disorders are phenomenally increasing these days. A nice content and articulated very beautifully by Luke... In deed I watch several of his videos to listen to the way he speak.

Coming to one of the technique Luke mentioned in this is: 'Bringing tongue out till the chin' - in yoga that is known as Lions breathing / Simhasana. Just type that in YouTube, one can find several tutorials about it, and it is a great technique to improve breathing.

I was having low iron content which was the reason for my sleep issue..low iron means less oxygen..once I took medicine sleep issue reduced drastically
So get your iron level checked

Iron leves, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12 are all important to check. I feel I have sleep apnea as I struggle to breath from nose while in sleep. So I end up breathing from mouth which isn't healthy. My mouth gets drier due to mouth breathing. It's important to note that you can still have sleep apnea even if you don't snore. So I am getting checked for sleep apnea right now as I feel I have sleep qualiry issues which is causing bad fatigue despite my blood showing no issues or any deficiencies. Might end up getting CPAP. Also going to strat practising what was suggested in the video. Some basic changes in lifestyle can make long term difference without costing anything. Overall good explaination and really good information provided..thank you

Thanks for your video. I need help my mom was diagnosed with OSA really bad and they dont want to give her the cpap they automatically said her option was the mouth pieace or implant for the tongue she is not wanting to do that. Any recommendations for best sleep study places in Florida. Thanks i wil have her do these tips you have suggested.
