Wheel of Time Season 3 casting leaks!! Two Rivers cast members?

WoTSeries has come through yet again with some casting leaks for Season 3 of The Wheel of Time! They announced two new cast members today on their site and I'm here to talk all about them! I Know Season 3 of The Wheel of Time isn't here just yet (We have MONTHS to wait!) but that doesn't mean the news stops for any reason! I dive into the two new Wheel of Time leaks and discuss where these two amazing actors may fit into the third Season!

Great video Jon. Casting news, yay! As to social media--I don't know if you've noticed, but over the past 10 days or so there has been a marked increase in traffic at the WoT Show Reddit. There have been a lot of threads started asking about both book and show lore, from people who are just starting the show, have seen the show and are just starting the books, etc. Some great positive discussion going on, for a change! So I started a thread entitled "What are you looking forward to seeing in S3?" Asmodean is big on the antiipation list. So are Perrin and Faile 2 people started threads on them.)

This was so sudden that I wondered if Prime's algorithm was looping in WoT at the end of RoP S1, but no(it was leading people to the LOTR films, grrr). But I'll betcha a lot of ppl must be getting WoT showing up in their feed regardless, the way there's the sudden new activity...

Need to stop blaming the show's poor performance on lack of marketing. That's not the show's main issue, the poor quality of the writing and lack of presenting the best plot beats and scenes from the books is. Less invention and filler, and more WoT from the books is the solution.

If the show was better, if it had leaned into the books instead of trying to completely rewrite the story and characters, organic word of mouth would already be doing the bulk of the marketing for free, just as it did for GoT.

WoT show didn't lose so much of its audience between seasons 1 and 2 due to lack of marketing. Literally everyone who watched S1 already knew the show existed. Yet viewers deserted the show in droves, they simply failed to tune in again, because the show just wasn't very good.

Instead of blaming Sony-Amazon for not throwing more good money after bad marketing a show they seem inclined to cancel after S3 is released, maybe join the rest of us in providing good faith criticism, putting pressure on the showrunner and writers to do better and create a show so good that it generates its own buzz through genuine word of mouth.

Or don't, and keep blaming the show's lack of viewer retention (let alone lack of growth) on poor marketing or other external factors. See how that works out.
