Forsaken Moghedien & Lanfear Confrontation Ending - The Wheel of Time 2x8 - What Was Meant To Be

Lanfear enters the room where the forsaken are held captive, but Ishamael has a contingency plan, which freed all the forsaken before his death in the hope that Lanfear had betrayed him, in this scene we have Lanfear confront Moghedien who is having none of it and traps her in a spider like one power web to warn her of what's to come, truly good scene, it will be good to see what the forsaken have in plan for Rand al'Thor next season.

I love how Lanfear smugly walks in (as she has all season), but is immediately concerned when she realizes what is happening. Not only has she fallen victim to the aptly named spider but realized the threat of the others.

For those confused about how Moghedien beat Lanfear. Just think of how Batman defeated Superman by creating traps, tricks, weapons, and plans. Also, Moghedien has been shown in this scene to have an inferiority complex, which might be the show's reason for her joining the Dark One.

Moghedian ofc the weakest member from the Forsaken but her abilities to Dream walking and fully take control of the dream world is insane and unmatched

I like how people are watching this like "oonga boonga, lanfear stronk?" as if two characters meet in a room, one is ranked stronger than the other, then the weaker immediately gets nuked. Circumstances dictate the field of battle.

Such an epic scene! It was amazing how a talking scene with minimal CGI became one of the top 5 if not best scene in the season finale after we were dazzled by all the other more showy scenes

I love this scene because it perfectly sums up her character; she's singing about hiding in the shadows, because she hides in the shadows waiting for the right time to strike, she also uses spider webs on Lanfear because her name translates spider as she is the Forsaken's spymaster.

It's weird that the show runners are making all the "heroes" apathetic or completely unlikeable and making the Forsaken the most interesting and sympathetic characters on the show. This scene was actually awesome!

I was intrigued by the introduction but 0:52 was the moment I went, "There she is." The facial expression SCREAMED playfulness tinged with insanity.

This is great actually, that felt just like Moghedien though with some Graendal in there too how they made her much more powerful and added the slight flirtation in her movements.
