I really loved this scene. Egwene made a promise and she kept it

I think the reason Egwene was able to touch and use the a'dam on Renna was referenced earlier on in the series. Nyneve and Elaine were experimenting with the a'dam with that one channler who was a healer. When Nyneve channeled and focused on the collar, she made a comment that it needed to be healed. So, in essence, Egwnere using the a'dam to collar Renna could not be viewed as an act of violence, but rather an act of healing. She essentially found a loophole because putting a collar on a woman who can channel, though it constitutes enslavement, is technically "healing" them. So even if Egwenes intention was to turn the tables on Renna and then harm her, the initial act of placing it on her could be considered more an act of healing rather than violence. That being sent, I did hope the Egwene would light Renna on fire or something. Sher deserved a much more grisly demise than this.

I loved this scene. Even better than Rand ending scene.

I dont feel like egwene should have been able to touch the collar but I get why they did it for the show. In the book the A'dam was sooo much more intuitive. Not only did Egwene have to choose not to use the pitcher to harm Renna, but she had to convince herself that she would NEVER EVER do it in order to touch the pitcher which took several days. Even though she didnt intend to harm herself, she could not touch a knife that her friend tried to let her hold. Since she saw this as something to *use on Renna* I don't think it should have worked but tv is always different.

I get this was the finale so scene time is limited, but this was enough revenge for the torture Egwene endured. Renne died too easily.

Thankful series was held back. Beings in this galaxy (timeline) aren't ready to know more about other's in time. His peace be-in us always. Enam🙏🏽

I watch this clip everytime it pops up in my recommendations. It's the classic anime moment "MASAKA" aka "impossible or that can't be".

So earlier, Egwene couldnt even touch a pitcher of water because she may use it as a weapon. Now, with her collar still on, she can put the collar on Renne, knowing full well she's going to use it as a weapon? And somehow she doesn't get hurt when trying to channel the power to hang Renne, knowing that she's using the one power to hurt her sul'dam? Make it make sense...

Yes, this hurts but you put her through hell so this pain is nothing. Egwene, is unbreakable.

Xelia's performance as Renna is outstanding, truly. Renna deserved a redemption arc. We could've had it all.

Would've been better if after Egwene was released, she made Renna channel and burned her by using so much of the one power.

“The a’dam only works on women who can channel.”

“I know.”

I’m glad the a’dam understands cinematic timing, because it waited until this exchange was done before actually working.

It was crazy though that the things couldn't be removed unless they died. Like damn "made for a woman" is what they said. Wild. However, I really did want more build up before all of this and wanted Egwene to really learn some power spells and etc.

Anything seen as a weapon cannot be used by the damane... Oh wait, there is one exception : when the showrunners have no clue what to do to wrap up their story. Egwene should never have been able to collar the girl as she was clearly seeing this as a weapon to use...

so Renne couldn’t hurt Egwene when she was wearing a collar, but Egwene could hurt Renne whilst wearing a collar. Got it 👍
