I've lived in Washington all my life, I've been to most other states and I 100% confirm that this the BEST state with the highest quality of life. It is the perfect haven in a rather dismal, unconvincing 1st world country. Life would seriously be intolerable if didn't live here as a U.S. citizen. I would rather beg Canada to take me or move to my husband's European country than to live anywhere else here, with the exception of Oregon. I hope it never changes. I love Washington. ♥️

I'm jn love with Washington state. I'm from Colombia and lived there for a year as an exchange student, after that, fell in love with it, the people, the land, culture, the music. Fuck, I love Washington!

One thing you could have discussed is the diversity of weather. Sure Seattle gets rain. But Spokane can get everything from rain to blizzards to over 105 degree (40C) summers to dust storms and even tornados. We also have things like the Moses Lake landing strip which is now an alternate landing zone for re-entering space shuddles in case of emergencies. There are so many interesting things about this state because it is such a diverse place. I can go from a true desert to snow covered mountain passes to a temperate rainforest in the amount of time it might take someone to make it through rush hour traffic on the 405 in LA. Pretty amazing if you ask me

As a Vancouver native (not the one from before Jesus) I appreciate you listing us in your large city fact. Too often we get lumped in with Portland because we are soooo close but we are a proud people and deserve to be mentioned

I live in Wenatchee Washington the Apple capital of the world and it just so happens to also be a dessert, we don't get much rain here in the middle of the state.

Surprised he did not take more on the east side of our state. Dry Falls was the world's largest waterfall at 3.5 miles wide with a 400 foot drop.

Fantastic! You pronounced everything just like a person NOT from WA! Between that and the fact that the only people who use umbrellas here AREN'T from here, those are the dead giveaways of a tourist/visitor!!! Try pronouncing this one: Sequim... 🤣 Great video! Thanks from us rusty people in WA!!!

I am from a small town just outside of Yakima I’m glad we got a couple mentions because the east side rarely gets them I also got a good chuckle out of the pronunciations

I'm a Washington Native. Yakima is pronounced: Yak-ah-ma. Puyallup is pronounced: Poo-al-ip. Spokane is pronounced: Spoke-ann. (I know it isn't spelled that way.) Also, for what ever reason, in Des Moines WA, the S is not silent. We also have the most powerful tectonic fault off the coast. The San Juan is capable of 9.2 earth quakes. It typically unzips about every three hundred years. The last quake was in 1700. You can do the math.

I live in Washington State, and you could not see all the great places in a short time. It will take months. By that time you could fall in love with the state.

Love this video! Just one little correction: it's YA-kima (with a short 'a' sort of like 'yeah'), not Ya-KI-ma. Kudos on correcting yourself with Spokane, though! 😁👍
