Watching this has honestly made me really want to visit Scotland again. I stayed at Spey Bay near Inverness for a college trip which is on the west side of the Scottish coast. I do want to visit some of the cities the next time I do go up there, as when I went last time we mostly stayed near to the coast.

As a Scotsman I am very offended that you didn’t mention snare drums yet you did mention bagpipes :(

You missed the part about explaining why haggis have shorter legs on one side than the other...

It's so they can easily run around the hills and mountains to evade capture, goats have nothing on the haggis for its skill in being sleekit....

A few little things: Scottish gaelic is actually pronounced galic, gay is Irish, ga is Scottish.
Perth, or rather, Scone (pronounced Scoon) was also the Capital for a fair bit of the Medieval period, and is where Robert the Bruce, along with many other kings, was crowned. He forgot to actually mention, in case it wasn't obvious, that Golf and Whiskey are also Scottish inventions. Sorry Irish.

O Flower of Scotland
When will we see your like again?
That fought and died for
Your wee bit Hill and Glen
And stood against him
Proud Edward's Army
And sent him homeward tae think again

The Hills are bare now
And Autumn leaves lie thick and still
O'er land that is lost now
Which those so dearly held
That stood against him
Proud Edward's Army
And sent him homeward tae think again

Those days are past now
And in the past they must remain
But we can still rise now
And be the nation again
That stood against him
Proud Edward's Army
And sent him homeward tae think again

The Hills are bare now
And Autumn leaves lie thick and still
O'er land that is lost now
That though so dearly held
O Flower of Scotland
When will we see your like again?
That fought and died for
Your wee bit Hill and Glen
And stood against him
Proud Edward's Army
And sent him homeward tae think again

I’ve been waiting for this for years. There are many times when I would like to leave the U.S. and go live in the Highlands.

Hey, why does Dundee only get one mention whilst the rest of Scotland's major cities get multiple mentions?

DMA Design (now Rockstar North) was founded in Dundee, they created Grand Theft Auto and Lemmings.

Williamina Fleming, a Dundonian, discovered white dwarf stars and the Horsehead Nebula

James Bowman Lindsay who lived in Dundee was a pioneer of the electric light bulb

As an American, I would love to live in Scotland one day, specifically in a secluded area in Scotland, I can imagine living in a house in the middle of the Highlands of Scotland.

Some things to add - the English language actually comes from southern Scotland and northern England. Scotland also gave us Adam Smith - basis of modern capitalism; David Hume - Theory of Knowledge; Jame Watt - Electro himself

Alexander Fleming was born in Darvel, Ayrshire.

My dog once had a long pee on the sign post showing where he was born.

I tried to explain the significance of Fleming's achievement. My dog couldn't care less. He was a proud dog and had no time for human history.

As much as I thank Fleming for his contribution to human history. I've got to support my dog and have his back .
