Thank you for your time and money making this video! I know it's 2 years past and you will likely never read this, but it is much appreciated.

To those who don't worry about protection, a friend of mine got poisoned and some serious health conditions from the time when two pack paints were first introduced as he was unaware of the seriousness of the health implications. He lost his job and eventually took his own life, in a large way because he found the new limitations on his life and new health conditions unbearable. He wore the wrong breathing protection and not as much body covering he needed to.

Great videos Brian, I clean my guns after every paint job regardless. my Sata guns and Tekna are 7 years old but look and function as new each time I use them.

A while ago I forgot to clean my touch-up gun and I can't get it apart. I soaked it for a weekend and nothing. Gonna try it again. That's what happens to me when I get in a rush. Had no control of that situation!

Hi Brian, I always clean my guns after a 2 component spray, but recently I sprayed a 2 part high build primer and had a hell of time cleaning my gun after just about 30 mins. I will remember that. Clear seems to be the worst, It seems to get everywhere and takes the most time to clean. Great video Brian!

When the DV1 first came out there was the base gun model only. The DV1 clear gun was yet to come. There is a nice guy from Australia which demonstrated the first model. (base gun). He actually used the gun for both base and clear and with fantastic results . I wonder if there really is a difference in the two guns except the color of the guns? If so what is the difference in manufacturing of the two? Phillip Hall

I first run a little lacquer thinner through them tear the gun down and spray carb and choke cleaner through, always with the red supplied straw that comes with the can of carb & choke cleaner. Carb & Choke cleaner is one of the best things to use to clean your paint guns. I have Walcoms that are aluminum body, kevlar body, and two that are carbon fiber body and it's safe on all of them

There are aerosol gun cleaners that work really well too. It's not a replacement for scrubbing but has enough pressure to blow stuff out of tight spots.

Ok, Brian I have a question: I have noticed in several videos, that the Clear Coat gun has a wider fan. How is this and the tip put together to = a Wide fan for Clear Coats. Thanks Bill

Going to be painting my wheels soon, have everything down for the most part. Just curious about the actual paint I should use (is it just automotive paint?) and what type of hardener should I use as well? What’s a good clear coat to use as well?

Brian, how long do I need to wait to wet sand and buff my clear coat?
